Question 1 : How can I set up a flash sale only on some products ?
You can set up flash sales on Cdiscount ( discount based on a period ).
In order to set it up, you have to complete the following fields :
Required for the flash sale :
- Discount_StartDate : with the structure : YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss example : "2099-01-01T00:01:00"
- Discount_EndDate : same structure
- Discount_Type : Put "1" for a flash sale
=> In this case, the flash sale will take the values price and striked_price of the product.
-Discount Value : If you want to ignore the field 'price' and apply the discount directly to the field StrikedPrice, you have to put the pourcentage of discount value in this field. ( ie : If you put 50 in the field Discount_Value and that your StrikedPrice is 200, then the flash sale will be 100€ regardless of the value in the field Price )
Question 2 : How can I add a shipping method ?
Currently, 3 shipping methods are mandatory for Cdiscount : Normal, tracked and registered and the amounts have to be filled respectively by the fields "Standard_ShippingFees" , "Tracked_ShippingFees" and "Registered_ShippingFees."
If needed, you can enter an additional cost to this delivery methods via the fields : "Std_AdditionalShippingFees", "Tck_AdditionalShippingFees", "Reg_AdditionalShippingFees"
If necessary, you can add up to 3 other delivery method from this list:
Relay => Delivery in the store
RelaisColis => Delivery at a pickup point
SoColissimo => Delivery via SoColissimo®
MondialRelay => Delivery in a pickup point MondialRelay®
BigParcelEco => Delivery of big parcel Eco (>30kg)
BigParcelStandard => Delivery of big parcel Standard (>30kg)
BigParcelComfort => Delivery of big parcel Confort (>30kg)
Express => Express Delivery
Fast => Fast Delivery
RIM = > Immediate withdrawal in the store
You have to indicate the values in italics in one of the following fields : _1_DeliveryMode, _2_DeliveryMode or _3_DeliveryMode.
Then you have to fill the following fields to complete the addition of the shipping method :
_1_ShippingFees => Shipping costs for the additional delivery method 1
_1_MinLeadTime => Minimum time for the additional delivery method 1
_1_MaxLeadTime => Maximum time for the additional delivery method 1
optionally: _1_AdditionalShippingFees => Additional Costs by additional product for the delivery method 1
Question 3 : How can I update my product informations ?
When you add new products, you must create them with 'Cdiscount produits' (see case B here) and send the feed manually to Cdiscount. Once your products are created, the API updates the information related to offers such as price, quantity, costs, delays and delivery method but it does not update the information of the product (title, image ...)
If you want to edit information such as title, image, brand or description, you must manually send this completed file at firstname.lastname@example.org with the object : Change product informations .
Question 4 : Customer information (delivery and billing) is not available in my orders, how can I get it ?
By default, Cdiscount orders income with their status set to "New". When an order status is "New", Cdiscount does not provide billing nor delivery information.
It is necessary to accept the order so that its status can be updated to "Pending", making the billing / delivery information accessible.
Other solution: If you want to automatize the order acceptation (thus making billing / delivery info directly accessible), you can set the appropriate option in your Cdiscount back-office, like on the following picture:

|The product transformation has failed||Products publications are failing when a mandatory attribute is missing or invalid. A common example is missing price or invalid stock (negative value).
In this case, you must correct the products concerned or filter them if you are not able to correct the information.

EAN: Reference unknown. You must create your product before putting an offer, or put an offer on an existing product using the EAN
Non-existent- Ask for the creation in "product creation" in the back office
Variant products (size / color), to be created in the "Product Creation" in the back office.
This means that this product already exists in the Cdiscount interface :
If there is a difference uppercase / lowercase: Create a custom field that will return your reference in uppercase => UPPER ([reference])
When the ID has changed : Send a request to Clemarche_support_vendeur@cdiscount.com to change the ID using an excel file containing the new ID, the EAN and the condition of the product (New-New, New-Refurbished, Used-like New...)
When the ID has changed :
When a product infos has changed (title, description, or other): Send to firstname.lastname@example.org a request to improve your products with an excel file filled at least the ID (SKU Cdiscount if possible )
|Product ID: An offer is already existing on this product with another ID, the change is not possible, please put back the old ID.|
It means this ID already exists in Cdiscount but the EAN or the condition is different.
|See error 2403||Product ID : This ID is used with another EAN or condition. Please change your ID.|
|4268||A shipping method must be free||
Since early 2015 you must propose a delivery method for free for fashion. it includes the following sectors: Clothing, Sport Clothing, Jewellery, Cosmetics and Luggage.
This rule states that at least 1 shipping cost must be 0€ in the following modes: normal, tracked, registered, MondialRelay, relais Colis. Store delivery and RIM (Immediate withdrawal in store) are not eligible.
There must be no minimum amount for orders.
Beware, the normal mode is no longer eligible when the amount of the order exceeds 40 €. So if free shipping is normal and not others. All superior products to 40 € will not be online.
Additional costs must also be free.
Offer : A shipping method must be free for this category ( except RIM , store delivery or standard delivery if price is > 40€ )
|1710||Delivery time is incorrect||
You must put a maximum and a minimum delivery time.
The value must be set in days.
If your delivery field is "2-3" or "two days", create a perso field dbo[ItemIndexOf] ([shipping_time], '-', 1). Which keep only what's before the dash or dbo . [ItemIndexOf] ([shipping_time], '', 1) which keep what's before the space.
For the maximum period, if you do not have the value in your feed: use the same formula as before by adding one or two at the end.
Max delivery time : Invalid value => inferior to the minimum value, check the consistency of your values .
Min delivery time: Invalid value => superior to the maximum value, check the consistency of your values.
