SUMMARY :

1. Add a channel

Go to the Channels section on the left menu. You will see a section called Available channels on the bottom of the page. Search for a marketplace or comparator and click on the plus sign under the channel logo.

After you clicked on the channel of your choice, it will automatically appear in your channels list.

✅ Note: for information on how to configure a marketplace (Rue du Commerce, Rakuten, Amazon...), see our documentation on Marketplaces Integration and follow the respective process.

⚠️ Important: the diodes for «Mapping» and «Category» must be green or yellow in order to activate the channel.

⏩ the diode for «Category» will be yellow 🟡 if:

  • You decide to not map all your categories.

  • You do not fill out the cost settings

2. Columns Mapping

In most cases, BeezUP automatically associates the columns of your catalog with the columns of the selected channel.

However, we recommend you manually check the fields, even if your «Mapping» is green 🟢.

1. Reset of the mapping

By clicking on this button, the default automatic matching will be re-set.

2. Choice of example product

By default, product data from a random product is displayed on the right. You can either decide to display another random product, or search for a specific product by writing its SKU, EAN or MPN.

3. Matching the fields

For each channel field (attributes on the left) you will see a drop-down list with the fields on your catalog. You have to select one field from the lists that corresponds to the attribute on the left.

🔵 Example : select “reference” from the list for the attribute “ID Produit”.

⏩ If none of the fields from the list applies for the attribute on the left, you can create a custom field by clicking on the ➕ button.

⚠️ Important : if you change the mapping, do not forget to save your changes with the Save and stay or Save buttons.

3. Categories Mapping

On this tab, there is a cost and a category section.

a. Cost settings

This section allows you to indicate the cost of your products, which has been previously negotiated with your account manager for each channel. These costs are only needed if you want to analyze your statistics on the «Analitycs» section on the menu.

You can select CPC (Cost per Click), CPA (Cost per Acquisition) or a fixed cost per month. This configuration depends on the plan you have negotiated with the marketplace or the comparator.

After having set the type of costs, you can choose between a cost by category and a global cost. If you select cost by category, you will see a section next to each category where you can fill out the corresponding value.

Note: In some cases, a default cost is displayed. We advise you to check this if you want to set up accurate analytics.

⚠️ Important: Don't forget to click the Save button to save the cost configuration.

b. Categories

Before categorizing, you might see the option "I don't want to create products, I ignore the categorization step with {Channel name}". If, as indicated, you do not want to create product sheets, you can decide to ignore the categorization process by activating this option.

However, if you need to create products or the channel doesn't allow you to skip the categorization, you will see on a list of categories on the left with a blank section on the right.

For each category on your catalog (on the left), you must select the corresponding category on the channel by clicking on the blank space on the right and selecting a category.

You can also click on the number of products left to the category name to see the list of products that belong to it. In this pop-up, you can search and enable/disable products.

A disabled product won't be exported to the channel.

⚠️ Important: Some channels do not need categorization. In this case, you will see the following message "This Comparator does not require any categorization of your products."

4. Product Exclusions

This section allows you to define filters that will be applied to your products during the exportation for each channel.

It's therefore possible to define numerous conditions on which your products will be excluded, and to group conditions together.

🔵 Example : on the image above, we decided not to export:

  • products where quantity is lower than 50

  • products where title contains the word "used" and where quantity is lower than 10

It's possible to copy your exclusion conditions to another channels by clicking on : Action -> Copy exclusion to.... Then you have to select the marketplace or comparator on which you also want to apply the exclusion:

⚠️ Important: Please note that the exclusion "Is in list A|B|C" can take up to 4000 characters maximum, and it must never begin or end with the separator «|»

5. Product Editions

This section allows you to modify any value of a specific product.

Use the search bar to find the product you want to modify. Then unselect the case «Display Only Edited Product» (it is selected by default).

Once the right product is found, you must click on the Action button, then Edit....

You will see the list of values for each field for this product. Next to each value, you'll find the Edit this value button. A new bar will appear on the right where you can manually fill in the new value.

Back to the first page, you can see the list of your editions on this channel.

⚠️ Important : if you want to do bulk replacements, we highly advise you to use custom fields instead.

6. Product Vision

In this section, you will be able to see the number of products from your catalog that are active on this channel and will be exported. You can also see the number of products from your catalog that are not active on this channel (Not categorized, Disabled and Excluded). You can also list the products from each section to see the specific SKUs.

Likewise, you can use the filters to find specific products and check their status on the channel.

There are four available status:

  • Exported: the product is active, and it will be present on the export for this channel.

  • Filtered: the product is affected by an exclusion condition, and it will not be present on the export for this channel.

  • Uncategorized: the product is part of a category that has not been mapped to the corresponding channel category. It only applies for channels where the categorization is mandatory.

  • Disabled: the product was manually disabled via the «Category Mapping» section or «Vision Products», and it will not be present on the export for this channel.

Note: The product vision tab will not take into consideration edited values when showing the status of the product. If an edition causes a product to be affected by an exclusion condition, you will see it as exported even if it will be ultimately filtered from the export. The same can happen if an originally excluded product is no longer impacted by the condition because of the edition, you will still see it as filtered even if ultimately it will be exported.

⚠️ Important: The channel has to be active in order to see this section. If the channel is not active, you will see the following message "This feature becomes available once your channel is fully set-up".

7. Exportations / Publications

Depending on the channel type, you might see a URL or a publication button on the Channels page.

a. Exportations

The Feed URL is your export for this channel. You have to copy it and either configure it directly on the channel back-office or send it to your account manager so they can set up your feed.

In this section, you can see the details of your export (date of the last update and last content change, etc.).

To avoid unnecessary file generations, BeezUP uses the cache for its export files. On the «Exportation» page, you have visibility on the cache status. Here are the possible values:

  • No cache: You have either just activated the channel or deleted its cache. Next exportation will generate the cache file and will therefore be up-to-date.

  • Building: A recent export call occurred and initiated the file generation. The export will be available within the next minutes.

  • Valid: Cache is valid and available.

  • Invalid: Cache is available but not valid since a recent modification happened after the file was generated. In this case, you can choose to wait for the cache to expire (Expiration time) or you can click on Delete cache and force its regeneration at the next call.

  • Ready for generation: Cache has expired. The next export call will regenerate the file and will therefore be up-to-date.

You will also find the historic of the most recent file requests. You will see:

  • The date and hour of the request.

  • The duration of the download.

  • The status of the cache (If the feed is available in cache or if it has to be generated for the request).

  • The number of exported products.

  • The IP address of the server that requested the export.

  • The UserAgent of the server that requested the export.

b. Publications

If the channel has a publication tab, then we will automatically send your feed to the channel once it is active.

You will see the publication history on this tab with the date time of each publication and the number of exported products. You will also see the number of correctly published products (accepted by the channel) and the number of products with errors (if any).

The details available next to each publication will contain your publication report. There you will be able to see the possible error messages and warning messages.
